The "official" video from the website www.thedoors.pt.vu, "Strange Days", was removed from You Tube due to a copyright claim by Warner Music. The video which was conceived for this website, was first posted online on You Tube in 2006, it gathered almost 300.000 views and was one of the top ten most viewed The Doors videos on You Tube. Unfortunally will be no longer available on You Tube or any of the websites that had links to the post. However, the video still remains available on the official The Doors website at www.thedoors.com as it was posted on the website's video gallery. To access it just go to www.thedoors.com and choose Video. In the future I will try to post the video again on another website that can host it. Removal of videos from You Tube as been constant lately due to copyright claims, unfair in some cases. |

Hi Jeff, thank you for your reply. Please don't get me wrong on my thoughts about the Strange Days video removed from youtube. I understand that. I just was sad because it was something that was made as a tribute to the band and helped new fans reaching The Doors. I am very glad and happy that the video is available on the official site, a place where it really belongs to be. I appreciate and thank you and everyone else who kindly let my website goes on, because I am aware that I don't own any copyright to publish online Doors material, All i can really do is to publish on my website, as you probably already checked, direct links for the Doors products and merchandising be reached by fans,so the legacy of this this great rock band can grow more and more.
