This month of July it has been 35 years since the Lizard King "ride the snake", but, there is always a strong number of people and fans who bellieves he's still around. All these stories just contributes to help grew and the myth and make it stronger. But, does someone with the life style of Morrison (Drug abuse, alchool abuse, compulsive and strong smoker, suffering from ashma) could lived longer without changing his habitudes? Anyway, like Jim said, "Let's plan a murder, start a religion"

You have two very good examples: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. I think they may have changed some of their behaviours but they aren't (or weren't) saints themselves. But I don't think Jim could had lived until 63... (the age that he would have today).
Yes, I believe he is death. And I also believe he died in the 3rd of July, 1971 in Paris (or nearby that day). Perhaps in different circumstances but I really believe he died.
